Wassail is a 70-seat cider-focused restaurant and bar at 162 Orchard Street in the Lower East Side.
Its beverage program features an extensive selection of apple-based cocktails, as well as 90+ ciders on draught and by-the-bottle.
The seasonal menu is inspired by cuisines of cidermaking regions, layering multiple flavors and textures to create original and deeply satisfying dishes that are bright and nourishing. We are dedicated to exploring the the exceptional pairing qualities of cider.

Our entire space (1,100 sq ft) can accommodate up to 74 guests for a seated meal or 100 guests for cocktails.
The Private Dining Room (300 sq ft) accommodates 24 seated, or 35+ guests for cocktails.
Known for his relaxed yet well-executed cuisine, Chef Vini's approach is to create dishes that don't draw attention, but instead inspire joy and conviviality when shared with friends. He says - "for me, dining is an occasion for celebration and conversation. It's about having fun with the people around you." Wassail's bar vibe and fun atmosphere is a natural fit for his style of cooking.
